Phoebe is an AusAID scholar from the Philippines. She earned both her undergraduate and graduate degrees, Bachelor of Science in Biology major in Cell Biology and Master of Science in Microbiology, from the University of the Philippines (UP). She worked as a faculty member at the University of the Philippines for more than 5 years. She handled Biology and Microbiology courses in her affiliated institute/college. Aside from teaching, Phoebe was also involved in various research projects in the Philippines. She was previously working on plant growth-promoting rhizobacteria isolated from the rhizosphere of Metroxylon sagu (Rottb.). She is currently pursuing her PhD under the Pongamia project at CILR.
