He is currently completing my PhD at the Centre of Excellence for Integrative Legume Research at the University of Queensland. My research has centred on using bioinformatics to assemble, annotate and analyse genomic datasets with a particular focus on legume plant species and their organellar genomes. To this end, he has developed an interest in comparative and evolutionary genomics. He has also delved into SNP detection and analysis, as well as RNA-editing site prediction and expression analysis using transcriptomic data.
